Therman Statom is a glass artist whose work is currently on display in the Elkhorn Valley Campus commons.

Bart Vargas is a painter and sculptor from Bellevue, Nebraska with a BFA in sculpture from the University of Nebraska Omaha and an MFA from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Bart is currently an artist in residence at the Carver Bank residency in north Omaha.
Jesse Ross and Tracy Shell are ceramic artists and owners of the new non-profit business Clementine Porcelain. Jesse is faculty at Iowa Western Community College and Tracy is Associate Professor of Art at Midland University.
Graphic artist Joshua Norton will visit the class to discuss art school, BA, BFA and MFA programs. Joshua taught at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and was an artist in residence at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts.

This First Friday at the Tugboat Gallery (14th and O Street) in Lincoln there is a show titled High Tech, Low Tech and Who Cares? curated by my husband Michael Burton. The show features the following artists:
